Daily tour program

 

- Day 1 - Athens - Santorini - Athens -

In the morning, we will meet you at your Athens hotel and provide a transfer to the Airport

The 50-minute flight to Santorini island.

 

Upon arrival, meet up with your English speaking driver and enjoy an introductory driving tour of the Island.

Our first stop will be the main Caldera where we will at a viewpoint and get knowledge about the island, how it forms and also on its caldera and the volcano.

 

We will then continue on our scenic drive to the village of Oia a small village located at the North Western most part of the island,  built on the steep slope of the caldera and the houses and restaurants are built into niches carved into the caldera on the seaward side, There are narrow passageways and a central square.

After some free time in Oia,  we will continue on to other scenic villages on the island.

Will visit Imerovigli which is suited on a higher cliff and you will get stunning views of the island

 

During the tour, we will cover Firostefani to see the famous Blue Dome Church,  Continue to the peak of Prophet Ilias, the island’s highest mountain, standing 2,000 feet above sea level,  then

the village of Megalochori or Pyrgos.

 

An optional visit to Akrotiri is available on your request. (Admissions fees are not included)

We will then make a stop at the Santos Winery, (for optional wine tasting)

 

Your driver-guide will drop you at the main town,  you will then have free time to explore at your own pace.

Meeting time for the airport transfer to be determined

Meet up at the meeting point,  transfer to Santorini Airport

Arriving back in Athens will mark the end of this program.
