Daily tour program

 

- Day 1 - Arrival in Istanbul -

HOS GELDINIZ! Welcome to Turkey!

We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

After check-in, enjoy the rest of the afternoon free to rest and explore Istanbul on your own.

Overnight in Istanbul.

 

- Day 2 - Istanbul - (B/L)

After breakfast, we will continue on the full-day tour, including Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, and Topkapi Palace.

From 09:00 am to 16:00 pm  (1-hour free time for lunch)

After the tour, you will return to your hotel, or enjoy the rest of the day exploring Istanbul at your own pace.  Overnight in Istanbul.

 

- Day 3 - Istanbul - (B)

After breakfast, we will continue our exploration of Istanbul, including the Spice Bazaar and a cruise on the Bosphorus,
which takes you through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia. Along with its shores, you will
enjoy many photographic opportunities: the marble palaces and antique wooden Ottoman-era villas that sit beside
luxurious modern residences.

You will also see Dolmabahce Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, and Ortakoy Mosque from the sea.

After the tour, return to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

- Day 4 - Istanbul to Athens - (B)

Breakfast at the hotel -- Transfer to Istanbul Airport

1-hour 20-minute flight to Athens.

We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
After checking into your hotel, you will have the afternoon free to rest and explore Athens on your own.

Overnight in Athens.

 

- Day 5 - Athens - (B)

Breakfast at the hotel

Meet up at the lobby of your hotel ( meeting time to be determined)

Will start with a panoramic driving tour of Athens, with your guide and or driver guide, during the driving tour you will be seeing and learning about the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Greek Parliament building, and Presidential Palace, then s short photo stop at the Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896,

Also on the way to Acropolis,  you will be pointed and learn about the Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus, the University and, the Academy of Athens, National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral,  Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church

We will then leave the vehicle, near the entrance of Acropolis then continue on visiting Propylae the gateway, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens. the ancient citadel.

The last place of the tour will be the new Acropolis Museum where you will see the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis and every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece.

 

After the tour,  we can take you back to your hotel

or we can drop you at the Plaka district if you like to wander and explore at your own pace.

- Day 6 - Athens - (B)

Breakfast provided in the hotel.

Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy one of these available optional tours.

- Day 7 - Athens to Rome - (B)

Breakfast at the hotel

Meet up with the driver,  transfer to Athens Airport

We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After a short briefing.

about your tour, you will have the afternoon free to rest and explore Rome on your own.

- Day 8 - Rome - (B)

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for your comprehensive tour to visit the Vatican and its museums, as well as the Sistine Chapel the home of Michelangelo's Last Judgment.

After that, we will continue to visit St. Peters Square and Basilica, and will also visit the Coliseum and the Roman Forum.

Overnight in Rome.

 

- Day 9 – Rome – (B)

Breakfast at the hotel – Enjoy the day at leisure.
