 - Friday - Day 1 - Arrival in Rome

BENVENUTO! Welcome to Italy!
We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After a short briefing
about your tour, you will have the afternoon free to rest and explore Rome on your own. Overnight in Rome.

 

- Saturday - Day 2 - Rome - (B)

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for your comprehensive tour to visit the Vatican and its museums, as well as the Sistine Chapel the home of Michelangelo's the Last Judgment.
After that, we will continue on to visit St. Peters Square and Basilica, and will also visit the Coliseum and the Roman Forum.
Overnight in Rome -

 

- Sunday - Day 3 – Rome – (B)

Breakfast at the hotel – Enjoy the day at leisure.

- Monday - Day 4 -- Rome - Pompeii - Naples - (B)

In the morning, depart from Rome on a scenic drive to Naples, upon arrival will continue on a panoramic tour of this beautiful city.

Naples' historic city center is the largest in Europe and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Naples has long been a major cultural center with a global sphere of influence, particularly during the Renaissance and Enlightenment eras. In the immediate vicinity of Naples are numerous culturally and historically significant sites to visit.

 

Enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant then we will spend the afternoon visiting the Ancient site of Pompeii.

The city of Pompeii was an ancient Roman town-city located close to Naples

Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, was mostly destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

Pompeii has UNESCO World Heritage Site status and is one of the most popular attractions of Italy.

Dinner provided in the hotel & overnight in Naples.

 

 - Tuesday - Day 5 - Naples - (B/L)

After breakfast we will depart on a short boat trip to Capri island. If the weather condition permits you will go on a boat ride to the popular and splendid "Grotta Azzurra" (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the sea water, creating a magical blue reflection.

We will then continue on a scenic drive to Anacapri which lays 918 feet high on the sea level. Breath taking views, lots of photo opportunities, then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Enjoy rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Naples.

 

- Wednesday - Day 4 - Naples to Florence - (B)

In the morning, we will meet you at your hotel and provide a transfer to Train station and depart from Rome on a 1 hour 30 minute train ride to Florence.

Upon arrival you will be met at the train station and transferred to your hotel.

Enjoy rest of the day at leisure.

NOTE: optional Afternoon tour to Pisa and Leaning tower is available - contact us if interested.

Overnight in Florence.

 

- Thursday - Day 5 - Florence - (B)

Breakfast at the hotel

Meet up with your guide and enjoy rest of the touring Florence

Start with the Panoramic tour and get a good knowledge and view of Florence

Then walking tour of the Historic center Piazza Santa Croce and Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio

Visit Uffizi Gallery ( Skip the line tickets )

Florence is famous for its history. Florence is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance, and has been called the Athens of the Middle Age.
It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982.

Due to Florence's artistic and architectural heritage, it has been ranked by Forbes as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and the city is noted for its history, culture, Renaissance art and architecture and monuments.

- Friday - Day 6 - Florence to Venice- (B)

In the morning, we will meet you at your hotel and provide a transfer to train station and depart from Florence on a 2 hour 30 minute train ride to Venice.

Upon arrival you will be met at the train station and transferred to your hotel.

After check in enjoy rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Venice.

- Saturday - Day 7 – Exploring Venice – (B)

Breakfast at the hotel

Meet up with the group and enjoy a guided tour of Venice.

- Sunday - Day 8 - Departure from Venice to Athens - (B)

Breakfast at the hotel, met up at the hotel and transfer to Venice Airport and put you on a flight to Athens.

We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After a short briefing about your tour, you will have the

afternoon free to rest and explore Athens on your own.

- Monday  - Day 9 - Athens - (B)

After breakfast around 8:30 AM, we will meet you at your hotel and continue on the guided tour of Athens.  Start with the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Panathinaiko Stadium (where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896). After that, we will drive by the Prime's Minister's residence, the Royal Palace, (guarded by colorful Evzones), Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, Hadrian's Arc, St. Paul's Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schlieman's House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, and the impressive Russian Orthodox Church.

At the ACROPOLIS, you will visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion and the Museum of the Acropolis.

In the early afternoon, we will provide a transfer to your hotel, or we can drop you at Plaka district if you like to wander and explore at your own pace. Overnight in Athens.

- Tuesday - Day 10 - Athens to Olympia - (B/D)

After breakfast, you'll depart Athens by car. Our drive to Olympia will offer exciting scenery as we pass by Olympic Stadium, and the Corinth Channel, stopping for a small break afterwards. After that we will drive onto Epidaurus and visit the Ancient Theatre, famous for its impressive acoustics. Afterwards, we will continue onto Nauplia through the plains of Argos.Upon arrival in Mycenae and visit the Tomb of Famous Agamemnon there.

After another short break, we will also see both Tripolis and Megalopolis.

After you arrive in Olympia, check in at the hotel. Overnight in Olympia.

 

- Wednesday - Day 11 - Olympia to Delphi - (B/D)

After breakfast, you will start the day visiting the following famed archaeological sites: Temple of Zeus, Temple of Hera, The Altar of the Olympic Flame, The Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. After visiting these sites, we will drive along the coastal road towards Delphi, passing through Patras and Antirion. In the afternoon, we will take a break and stroll around the charming mountain village of Arachova. Arrival in Delphi and check in the hotel. Overnight in Delphi.

 

- Thursday - Day 12 - Delphi to Kalambaka - (B/D)

After breakfast, we will visit the ancient site of Delphi and the Museum of Delphi. We will then depart for Kalambaka (after a short break

at Lamia.) Kalambaka is a picturesque small town built at the foot of the Majestic Grey Rocks and crowned by the Meteora Monasteries overhead. Overnight in Kalambaka. Hotel:

 

- Friday - Day 13 - Kalambaka to Athens  - (B)

After breakfast, we depart Kalambaka and drive back to Athens, visiting Byzantine monasteries and the Monument of Leonidas at Thermopoli,
Arrival in Athens & Overnight stay.

- Saturday - Day 14 - Athens to Mykonos Island - (B)

Very early in the morning, we will meet you at your Athens hotel take you to Piraeus ferry port. Depart from Athens on a ferry ride to Mykonos Island.
Upon arrival, you will be met at the harbor and transfered to your hotel.
After check in the hotel, enjoy rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Mykonos.

- Sunday - Day 15 - Athens to Mykonos Island - (B)

Very early in the morning, we will meet you at your Athens hotel take you to Piraeus ferry port. Depart from Athens on a ferry ride to Mykonos Island.
Upon arrival, you will be met at the harbor and transfered to your hotel.
After check in the hotel, enjoy rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Mykonos.

 

- Monday - Day 16 - Free day to Explore Mykonos -  (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Today is free for you to explore Mykonos on your own.

Optional tour to Delos is available at your request.

Overnight in Mykonos.

 

- Tuesday - Day 17 - Mykonos to Santorini -

In the morning, Depart from Mykonos on a scenic ferry ride to Santorini Island.
After arrival, you will check in at your hotel.

After check-in, you will have a free day to relax and explore on your own.

In the early evening, meet up with your English speaking driver and enjoy 2 hour introductory tour
of the Island.

Enjoy a good panoramic tour of the island from different angles and visit small some of the villages and get a good knowledge of the island from your friendly driver.

Overnight in Santorini.

 

- Wednesday - Day 18 - Exploring Santorini - (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Enjoy a boat trip to Volcano

11:00 am Meet up at the Athinios Harbor, depart on scenic sail to Volcano,

Upon arrival have free time to explore and hike to the top of the volcano and have glance on the active parts, lots of amazing photo opportunities of the volcano and from Volcano to the different angles of Magnificent Santorini Island.

Get back to the boat for a short sail to hot Springs (Palea Kameni ) Enjoy swimming, then onto Thirassia where you can eat,

relax or swim and visit the traditional village of Manola.

After that, sail to back to the Island and enjoy a quick stop at Armeni, then back to Athinios port.

Tour finish time will be around 17:30 pm. Enjoy rest of the day and evening at leisure

Overnight in Santorini.

- Thursday - Day 19 - Santorini - (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free day at leisure.     Overnight in Santorini.

- Friday - Day 20 - Santorini to Athens - (B)

In the morning we will provide a transfer to Santorini Airport for your departure to Athens
Arriving in Athens, will mark the end of this program.
