My husband, my sister, and I recently visited many different sites within the country and are so pleased to say that every connection, accommodation, and guided tour came off without a single hitch.

Everything worked well and was on time.

Our trip involved a lot of arrangements--from late night airport pickups, to days filled with touring and cruises, hotel arrangements, drivers and private tour guides, and meals. And, if we had any questions or concerns we just called or emailed and everything was quickly handled.

We would love to do it all over again!!!

The Greece tour was by far the best. The guides were very good, hotels except for the one in Santorini (tiny room, isolated, poor hosts) were OK,the tours were all right except for the large group size in Athens

Went to Istanbul and Athens in May had Chevy took us all over and treated us like family. It was such a enjoyable time. Got to see all the sights and he took us other places we would have not seen. He is so nice and his staff. One of the best trips we ever took. Can't wait to plan another trip through him.

Dear Mr Noratli , My name is Meena Bhuvaneswar . I am not sure if you

remember us as the Indian couple who booked with you for tours to

Greece, Turkey and Spain (2008) . We still recall how well you took care of us , including helping us meet our son in-law,s relatives in Istanbul.

I would like to ask for your advice on behalf of my sister who also came to Greece with us .

She will be joining a party of friends who will be visiting Istanbul

some time in December . She will be there for part of the visit and wants to stay in a hotel near their non hotel accommodation .

The address there is Osman Bey izzet pasa sokak dilek and is near the metro station .

She is trying to see which would be the best hotel close(walking distance preferably ) to this place, that would be safe for her to stay ., since she will be travelling alone .

I would sincerely appreciate any input from you .

We have arrived safely home. The flight home went according to schedule, unlike the 5 hour delay we experienced going out. Overall, we are very satisfied with the package you provided. The people in Greece and Rome were outstanding. Having basically private guides/drivers in Athens and Rome was a pleasant surprise and the people were outstanding. The Santorini tour/boat ride was just right. The morning group tour in Venice was small, only 7 people and we really enjoyed it. Having the morning end with a gondola ride was perfect. The afternoon part was a lot of walking up and down steps, and probably too much history. Having the afternoon off would have been a better choice for us. The hotels were all very nice. We really liked the locations of the hotels in Athens, Santorini and Venice. With our early departure from Athens, 5:00 am, the hotel even arranged for us to have some breakfast which was a plus. I would not have picked a location so close to the train station in Rome, but it worked out fine.

The next time we use you, and I would recommend you to others, I would like a local contact name and phone number for each of the locations.

I should have requested that in the beginning. I had one for the first location in Athens but not the rest. We discussed the refunds for the unanticipated taxes in Rome and Venice, the charge for bags on Aegean Airlines, and the water taxi we needed to get when our contact did not meet us at the train station in Venice. I have receipts for everything except for the bags on the Aegean Airlines flights from Athens to Santorini, and from Santorini to Rome, which I had to do over the phone. Let me know what you need. This trip was fantastic. Since booking I had not been able to find any review of "Encounter Greece" tours, however I discovered that despite the lack of reviews the trip was really well planned and executed.

The guide, Christina, took great care of us and was really informative. I appreciated her great organization skills that had everything in control without giving a feeling of babysitting.

Tour/ sights / information.. was amazing - what an incredible country, heritage and culture. Being in a mini bus as a small group enabled such a lot of information to be passed and gained with each day building on the prior days. We didn't just visit sites we saw, learn t and felt what life was like, Christina brought the places to life and gave an incredible insight to this amazing country.

If you are going to Greece don't pass up the opportunity to take this tour!

My wife and I recently visited Greece for 11 days. All arrangements were made for the two of us by Chevy Noratli with Encounter Tours and it made our trip so much easier. From the minute we exited the airport in Athens until we returned at the end of our trip, every taxi driver and tour van met us on time and delivered us to our next destination, exactly as planned. Chevy chose a wonderful variety of sites for us to visit both on the mainland and in the islands. Tour guides were excellent and the accommodations were very good. We also took a trip to Turkey with Encounter Tours a couple of years ago and it was fabulous. I would recommend Encounter Tours to anyone and look forward to more tours with them in the future. We just got back from Athens and would like to thank you for arranging our tour so efficiently. It has been a pleasure dealing with you and we are very impressed by the quick responses to all our enquiries . We really enjoyed all the tours, especially the private tour in Rhodes and the Delphi tour. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable and gave us a fascinating overview of Greek history and mythology. Thanks to Hetty for arranging all the transfers so well. We never had to wait for the pickup.

I thought you would like our feedback about the hotels.

The Rhodes Mediterranean , of course was the best, with the added benefit of the waterfront location. The Jason Prime hotel was very good with great service and very helpful staff. It was also very convenient for shopping etc.

On the islands, Petasos Town was quite good, though some rooms had a very small bathroom. However, the lady in charge was extremely nice and capable

The Hotel Anemomylos in Santorini was beautiful with its bowered restaurant and warm staff, but the only flaw was that the rooms with the great balcony view The staff was extremely helpful, though. We had a lovely sunset view in Oia and enjoyed the half day tour of the caldera and hot springs, Thanks again for giving us such an enjoyable experience of Greece. As you had mentioned, we did leave with a piece of Greece in our hearts!

Just wanted to let you know that I had a wonderful time on my tour . Yanni was an amazing guide. I was little apprehensive for going on a organized tour. I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed having a guide and everything that was ready for us on each place we went. Now I don't think I would have felt that way about any tour. Yanni was just so much fun to be with!!! He is so knowledgeable and accommodating and easy going. He and all of your representatives took very good care of us and that made our trip amazingly wonderful. I'm sure you are aware of all this but I thought I would give you the feedback any ways!

"We have always wanted to see Greece, but we didn't want to go either by ourselves or with a large tour group. When a friend from Denver told us about Encounter LLC, we had a look at their website and spoke with Mr. Noratli manager of the company. Shortly thereafter, we joined 13 other adventurers and headed off to Istanbul to join 14 day tour organized by Encounter tours and its representatives. The Culture, history shown to us by the guides made our trip to Greece a wonderful experience.
