Program

Your tour guide will await your arrival at the port gate, and will be holding a sign bearing your name; you will then continue on with your wonderful all-day tour.

*Agiasos Village is built amphitheatrically on the eastern slopes of Mount Olympus. It is surrounded by arable land, olive groves, and forests. Farming and handicrafts still power the local economy. Agiasos has had a rich cultural tradition thus it is considered as the ìmother of Lesvos folk traditionî.

*Agiasos' Church of Virgin Mary ñ this popular tourist attraction features a three-aisled basilica surrounded by tall walls (so built for its previous function as a monastery). There are two nearby museums as well that feature both Byzantine and Folk art and relics.

*Mytillini Archeological Museum - this mansion-turned-museum now houses figurines, pottery and jewelry from the prehistoric period down to Roman times. Also on site are Aeolic column capitals from the temple at Klopedi, as well as important inscriptions, funerary stelai, relief sculpture, statues and coins from the Archaic to the Roman period.
