Tour Program

Estimated start time: 08:00 am at your hotel --- Estimated ending time 17:00 pm at your hotel or the city center.

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and enjoy a full-day guided tour of Delphi.

Depart from Athens on a scenic 2-hour drive towards North, upon arrival, will continue on the guided tour and visit the ancient sites of Delphi.

Delphi is known for the oracle at the sanctuary that was dedicated to Apollo

during the classical period. According to Aeschylus in the prologue of the Eumenides, it had origins in prehistoric times

and the worship of Gaea.

Delphi: is located in lower central Greece, on multiple plateaux/terraces along the slope of Mount Parnassus, and includes the Sanctuary of Apollo, the site of the ancient Oracle.

This semicircular spur is known as Phaedriades and overlooks at the Pleistos Valley.

In the afternoon we will depart on a scenic drive back to Athens, on the way we will stop at the mountain village of ARACHOVA, built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its quilts, as well as for its wine and cheese.

After having some free time, we will be on our way back to Athens.

Arriving in Athens will be the end of this program.
