Daily Tour Program

 

- Monday - Day 1 - Athens to Olympia - (D)

Meet up in the lobby of your hotel or in our office,  in the morning and depart from Athens.

Our drive to Olympia will offer exciting scenery as we pass by Olympic Stadium, and the

Corinth Channel will stop for a break and photo then we will drive onto Epidaurus.

Upon arrival, we will visit the Ancient Theatre famous for its impressive acoustics.

we will continue towards the plains of Argos.

Then on to Mycenae and visit the Tomb of Famous Agamemnon.

After another short break, we will also see the ancient sites Tripolis and Megalopolis.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel, dinner will be provided at a later time.

Overnight in Olympia.

 

- Tuesday - Day 2 - Olympia to Delphi - (B/D)

After breakfast, start the day visiting the following famed archaeological sites: Temple of Zeus, Temple of Hera,
The Altar of the Olympic Flame, The Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum.

Depart from Olympia,  drive along the coastal road towards Delphi, passing through Patras and Antirion
then have a break and visit the charming mountain village of Arachova.

Arrival in Delphi and check in the hotel.

Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Delphi.

 

- Wednesday - Day 3 - Delphi to Kalambaka - (B/D)

After breakfast, Visiting the ancient sites of Delphi and its Museum.

Depart for Kalambaka and on the way, we will make a rest stop at Lamia.

Kalambaka is a picturesque small town built at the foot of the Majestic Grey Rocks and

crowned by the Meteora Monasteries overhead.

Dinner at the hotel and overnight in the town of Kalambaka.

 

- Thursday - Day 4 - Kalambaka to Athens - (B)

After breakfast, we will start the day visiting Meteora Monasteries, spend time at

each monastery,

The Meteora meaning heavens on above and beyond is one of the largest and most

important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece.

Monasteries are built on sandstone, and they look amazing from each angle.

Meteora is included on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

After our visit we will continue on driving back to Athens, on the way will make a

rest stop and visit the Monument of Leonidas at Thermopolis,

Arriving in Athens will mark the end of this program.
